Ever onward north

The coastline is amazing, and we are getting such beautiful weather.

We picnicked along the river and then overnighted at a county park on the lake.

There is a saying; those who live in the country find the city too noisy and bright and those who live in the city find the silence and darkness of the country too much.

Not sure if it was cows or elk “mooing” well into the night. It was hard to get accustomed to.

Ten Mile in Lakeside, a tiny little community. Not sure if they are getting ready for Halloween or this is standard roadside decor.

Stopping at some of the cute towns along the way. Coos bay and Florence.

We had to stop in the middle of the highway 101 for the school bus.

Thor’s Well a gaping sink hole at Cape Perpetua and blowhole along the northern Oregon Coast. Both best seen at high tide which we timed perfectly. Quite spectacular.

It is great to be on the road again!

  1. So happy for you guys. You look happy and like you’re having a good time. And the weather is sunnier there than here!

Thanks for sharing this with us!
