We head north towards San Francisco, only about 50 minutes from home. Crystal Springs Reservoir supplies fresh water to the greater San Francisco area. The reservoir is pristine and well guarded from human contamination.
We set up overlooking the water ……..
and have our pancake breakfast with farmers market strawberries and fresh grounded coffee.
The wide paths easily accommodate hikers and bikers. Slight grades make biking easy until the last mile or so which is a steady gradual uphill climb.
Yes I am a bit tired…………………. A snack before we head back home along the coast.
We live in a beautiful part of the world. It was a gorgeous sunny afternoon. The drive down the coast was a good choice over the traffic of the bay area freeways.
