Olympia WA -Meeting New Family

We spent some time in Olympia; farmers market, waterfront, and meeting a new branch of Gary’s family.

and had ice cream. We are so Santa Cruzy. We carry our own bowl and spoons!

We met up with Gary’s step niece, his father’s granddaughter. Gary has had no contact with his father‘s “other” family. Yvette and Gary connected when he was researching for his Italian citizenship. Following our blog Yvette learned we were near her hometown of Olympia and invited us for a visit. We had a lovely time together (making the best of it in the midst of a pandemic) and made a great connection. It is exciting to discover new family.
