Wandering the Western States – Wyoming

                           Jackson, Wyoming

Well, this is one of the places we eventually got to on this day. However, lets backtrack a bit to let you know how that venture went.

It started out as innocent as ever, beautiful day, spring flowers,

Then more spring flowers, really outstanding!

Even a happy cow, and a wandering elk. Wow, what a great day!

Then we saw these little clouds in the distance.

 

 

 

 

 

Then that little cloud turned into the cloud in the top left, which turned into that dark sky in the bottom left, which then spread into that ugly sky in the bigger photo. Now, the landscape is certainly beautiful, but the sky was getting a bit worrisome.

Then, this stuff was on the road,

Which led to driving in this,

 

 

It hailed and hailed, some pieces of ice were about 1 inch round!

 

 

 

By the time we did get to Jackson, Wyoming the weather was a little better,

We found a place in town to park, right next to a raging creek.

After a walk around Jackson, it started to rain again. So we decided this was a good day to get laundry done, and settle in for the night. Good cell signal so Nancy  could do some work tomorrow. Poured rain all night. Then in the afternoon the next day there was a knock on our door and,

  

Yep that’s a cop! We were busted!
