We’re in Idaho!

The sign was about as exciting as it got.
Except for some farm lands,
Until we made it to Twin Falls,

The falls are obviously beautiful, and the entire park around it you can hike.
This is the Snake river that forms the falls. In fact, Twin Falls is the place where Evil Kenevil tried to cross the Snake river gorge. The huge dirt ramp he used to try and rocket across is still maintained as a tourist attraction, but we didn’t go there.

But really, the Twin Falls park was beautiful. We saw some geese, a bull snake crossing our hiking path and an cute animal we learned was a rock chuck.
We spent this nite in a parking lot of a shopping center that goes right up to the Snake river canyon.

This was the view from our camper. We love this camper because you can park it anywhere.
Some how the city allowed a golf course to be built right down in the canyon.
We didn’t go down there either.
Leaving Twin Falls the next day was slow going. Road work on a 5 mile stretch was a one lane road. And each side had to wait for a 1/2 hour or more.

I think Nancy took this shot out of boredom.
So we decided to go to Idaho Falls by way of Craters of the Moon. It was a little bit out of the way. But we thought the name sounded interesting.
I don’t know it looks like a lot of lava rock to me. And it is way out there.
There’s nothing around for miles.
Except for those cows.
Eventually we made it to Idaho Falls. And it was great. But it was a bit too dark for good pictures. There are bike paths all along the Snake River, so we took a night bike ride, and it rained a bit.

We were very tired this night and parked in a public park along the river call Freeman Park.
So we say so long for now from Idaho,
Join us next as we venture towards Wyoming!
